Science has been a blast! We dove into the fascinating world of mixtures and pure substances, and transformed our classroom into a mini-laboratory! 🧪✨ We had fun categorizing the contents of each cup, discovering how they mix or stand alone. Who knew science could be so colorful and exciting? Can't wait to share more discoveries with you all! Stay curious! 🌈🔍

Y4 had an amazing time in the library today, diving into books and losing ourselves in stories! Nothing beats the joy of reading for pleasure. Whether it was an action-packed adventure or a heartwarming tale, each page brought new excitement.

We encourage everyone to keep exploring new genres and finding those hidden gems that make reading so much fun!

We’re super excited to share that our Opal Play project is a hit with the children during lunch times! 🎉 To make it even better, we’re reaching out for your help!

This week, we’re on the lookout for any pushchairs, scooters, and even pots and pans that you might have tucked away and no longer use. If you have any of these items, we’d love to give them a new home in our play sessions!

And guess what? We’ve got some fun snapshots of the kids enjoying their lunchtime activities last week! 📸

What a fantastic first full week we've had last week inFS2! The children have been settling in beautifully, learning all the rules and routines of school life. They've enjoyed exploring our outdoor area, taking on classroom challenges, and getting stuck into lots of fun maths songs!

We've also been focusing on important life skills, like using the toilet independently and washing our hands properly . This week, we talked about what makes each of us special, and even started our very first phonics lessons – well done, everyone!

A big thank you to those who have returned their homework already – keep up the amazing work!

This week we will be exploring repeating patterns in Math, talking about ourselves and our families in Literacy and continuing with our daily phonics lessons. Of course we will also be having lots of fun learning through play!

Reminder: If you haven’t already, please purchase a book bag from the school office and make sure your child comes to school each day with a water bottle.

We're about to kick off our very first writing piece of the year! But first, our talented writers had a blast reading aloud to their friends to make sure everything flows just right. They even shared their work with the whole class! 🎉 Keep up the great work, Y6! We can’t wait to see what you create! ✍️✨
