📖📖 Reading for Pleasure 📖📖

Y4 Turquoise have done their Reading for Pleasure lesson in the library. They took their 'reading cafe' menu to sample some new books. They judged them on their covers, titles and books they wouldn't usually for. They rated them afterwards and then read Bevan Woolvin - Meet the Weather together to finish off the session. What a lovely start to a Wednesday!

** Parent Forum Meeting **

NOTE MEETING WILL NOW START AT 9.15am

Good morning families.

We were due to hold the parent forum meeting on Friday 2nd February, however due to a short term and Ramadan due to start early March we will now hold the parent forum meeting on Friday 8th March at 9.15am in the infant hall.

We have been very impressed by the number of parents who have attended the last two meetings and hope to see you all again in March. Our principal will present latest school updates, news and plans for the school year.

Good afternoon families,

Please join us in congratulating our Y4 pride and value award winning pupils this week.

🧜‍♀️🧜‍♀️Arabian Tales🧜‍♀️🧜‍♀️

Y4 have continued exploring Arabian Tales this week and have enjoyed the story of Aladdin in reading. We used drama to explore the true meaning of verbs used in this text and what we can infer from them. What a fun-filled and informative lesson!

Book Fair

Dear families

We will have the Scholastic book fair in the junior hall starting today at 3.15 - 4pm. We will be selling book everyday after school until Monday 29th January.

Year 4 have been invited to work with Sheffield Music Hub on something very exciting! Here's a snippet of our first practice with Liam. Stay tuned for more information.
