Y5 have been trying to find the perimeter of rectilinear shapes. We used lollypop sticks to help us understand the concept and to help use calculate missing sides.

We used freeze frames to plan our personal recounts. We got into character and retraced the steps of Shackleton's journey. We thought about what we would experience, do, think and feel - it was a lot of fun!

Yesterday some of our Y5 boys took part in a football tournament at Sheffield Park Academy.

Excellent teamwork work, super skills and respect for the opposition means the HHA Y5 boys are through to the Sheffield final.
