🥯🥯FS2 Meet The Teacher Breakfast 🥯🥯

The FS2 team would like to invite Parents to a MEET THE TEACHERS BREAKFAST to give you the opportunity to share breakfast with your child and to chat with your child’s teacher.

Time: 8:40am-9:10am

The children in nursery find lots of ways to practise mark making. They enjoy painting, drawing, writing letters and even practise writing their names. 

This week is Global Intergenerational Week, and we have had a wonderful time at Housteads Care Home this morning. It was our first session and we have loved getting to know the residents and creating some beautiful pieces of artwork together.

Wednesday 1st May 2.30pm - Mrs Cox/Mrs Fazlanie's class Y1 Aquamarine

Thursday 2nd May 2.30pm - Miss Ibrahim's class Y1 Emerald

The children are so excited to showcase examples of work they have done so far this term. Please come along if you can.

Y3 Ancient Greece Day is in full flow! We can't wait to learn about life in Ancient Greece.

On Tuesday 30th April please can all the Y3 children bring extra clothing to wear over their swimming kits as they will be having a water safety session.

Disci has been showing us how geographers use coordinates. Today, we used coordinates  to locate where the UK has experienced eathquakes. Luckily, they were only small magnitude quakes, not like others we read about today closer to major tectonic plates!

FS2 had a delivery of eggs, we are going to watch them hatch into beautiful chicks!

In year 1, we talked about eating a balanced diet, hygiene and used our skills of peeling and bridge cutting to make a fruit salad.
