Good morning families,

Please join us in congratulating our Y5 pride and value award winning pupils this week.

Our little acorn's had lots of fun using the 3D shapes to build towers, practise their counting to three and naming colours whilst outside today!

Y5 had a brilliant (but cold) trip to Sheffield Ampitheatre where we took in magnificent views of the city. We sketched the skyline and the buildings that stood out to us in order to prepare for our final piece in art.

🍕🍕 Y1 Cooking Club 🍕🍕

Today we made pizza on baguettes. The children used skills such as spreading, chopping and sprinkling 🍕 🌽 🧀

Y2 Art Work

In art, Y2 have been painting. They designed their own patterns and printed them onto paper using styrofoam and paint.

Rainbow Talk

Nursery used the rainbow fans to talk about what we could see in the transport picture.

This term Y3, are delving into the past and learning about Ancient Egypt. They are thinking like historians, and carefully analysing primary sources to help them learn about life in Ancient Egypt.

** Parent Forum Meeting **

NOTE MEETING WILL NOW START AT 9.15am

Good morning families.

We were due to hold the parent forum meeting on Friday 2nd February, however due to a short term and Ramadan due to start early March we will now hold the parent forum meeting on Friday 8th March at 9.15am in the infant hall.

We have been very impressed by the number of parents who have attended the last two meetings and hope to see you all again in March. Our principal will present latest school updates, news and plans for the school year.
