πŸ“–πŸ“– Celebrating World Book Day πŸ“–πŸ“–

World book day was extra special this year as we had some very special visitors. MP Damian Hinds Minister of State for Schools, The National Literacy Trust, and author Rob Biddulph visited school to view our flagship library.

A day the children will always remember!

πŸ“’πŸ“’Cohesive Discussion πŸ“’πŸ“’

Y6 orally rehearsed a cohesive discussion. We split into two groups where we created arguments ‘for’ and ‘against’ our topic. Then we practised debating our points and concluded our arguments, using the evidence we had heard.

Growing

In FS2 we are learning all about growing! This week we have learnt what plants need to grow and have been using words like stem, roots and leaves to label a flower. Today we planted our very own beans and we can't wait to watch them grow!"
