To bring our writing unit to life, Y5 had a very special visit from Murray Howitt who came to tell us about his expedition to the South Pole. We learnt what is was like to be in such an extreme environment and even got to try on some of his equipment.

Seedlings and saplings have made Mother's Day cards. They put a tea bag inside so that mummies can have a cup of tea to relax and put their feet up on Sunday.
