Year 4 have been invited to work with Sheffield Music Hub on something very exciting! Here's a snippet of our first practice with Liam. Stay tuned for more information.
Year 3 are learning about Ancient Egypt, today they were thinking like historians and digging for artefacts. Artefacts are human-made objects from a time in history. They are primary sources of evidence. We can use them to ask and answer questions about the past. In this dig we found some ancient gods and goddesses.
Year 3 have been learning about Edith Holden. Today we practiced some of the techniques Edith Holden used in her art. Edith Holden used three main techniques to add texture, clarity and dimension to her drawings. She used cross hatching, line drawing and shading.

Here are some examples of children using rainbow talk in nursery
Take a look at our updated reading corner in Y3 Citrine. The children absolutely love it. β€οΈ
Transport
In nursery the children have been learning about transport. They have enjoyed making tickets and role-playing getting on a train.
Creative Stories
Year 5 got their imagination going by picking random objects out of a basket and using them to generate ideas for a story. This inspired them to plot short stories.
Y5 have written some beautiful metaphors and similes to describe scenes from the animation 'Rock, Paper, Scissors'.
ππ¦Έ Castles, Knight & Dragons ππ¦Έ
Our FS2 children have loved our new topic 'Castles, Knights and Dragons'. We've been learning all about the different parts of a castle, and combining media and materials to build our own!
