This week in FS2 we have been learning about the different parts of the body. We had an exciting lesson where we got to draw around our friends and label their bodies.

Y4 have started making their ceramic pumpkins in Art, inspired by Yayoi Kusama's love for their shape. It was so fun forming the clay into the correct shape and adding detail. They turned out amazingly as you can see - ready for some painting and polka dots next week! Well done, students.

Y6 have been enjoying studying the artists Katherine Harvey and Ifeoma Anyaeji. We have learnt that they both use recyclable materials in their artwork and aim to inspire others to think about the importance of doing all that we can to protect our environment. We are feeling very inspired and can't wait to complete the rest of our unit!

In science this week Y5 have been investigating solubility

Year 2D have been to the school library this afternoon and what a fantastic time they had choosing a book to read in a comfy corner.

In FS2 we've been using the language of 'full' and 'empty' to talk about the capacity of different sized containers.

Y1 have been learning to practise counting back from 10. We made rockets and had rocket launching competitions. Each time we counting back from 10.

The nursery children have been practising their counting by singing lots of number songs. 

FS2 have been enjoying their outdoor learning, they have been using the magnifying glasses to spot the bugs.

Our Y1 children worked well together to explore and develop working as a team. The children shared ideas to pass a hoop from one end to the other and create a tent for a group of children to get to the other side #classfamily
