๐Ÿš—๐Ÿš˜Vehicle Fun ๐Ÿš—๐Ÿš˜

This week the nursery children got busy creating their very own vehicles inspired by our story “We All Go Travelling By”. Using a variety of craft materials, they designed cars, trains, planes and more – each one unique and full of imagination.

The children explored cutting, sticking, painting and decorating as they brought their vehicles to life. These hands-on activities supported fine motor skills, creativity and confidence, while giving everyone the chance to talk about different ways we travel.

We loved seeing the children so focused and proud of their finished creations – some fantastic crafting from our little artists! ๐ŸŽจโœจ

Dear Families,

We're excited to support The Date Project once again this year! Since 2015, this initiative has spread generosity during Ramadan, starting with a simple £10 box for Al-Huda Bakery in Syria.

We have beautifully designed date tins available for just £10, showcasing stunning designs for Yemen, Kashmir, Syria, Palestine, Somalia and Bangladesh, just to name a few!

Join us today after school on the junior yard to pick up your tin! Your support truly makes a difference.

OPAL Playtime Donations Alert!

Morning families!

We’re super excited to share that our Opal Play project is a hit with the children during lunch times! ๐ŸŽ‰ To make it even better, we’re reaching out for your help!

This week, we’re on the lookout for any pushchairs, toy prams and scooters, that you might have tucked away and no longer use. If you have any of these items, we’d love to give them a new home in our play sessions!

Thank you so much for your ongoing support! You make our community awesome! ๐Ÿ’–

Parent & Carer SEN Meeting

๐ŸŒŸ Attention Parents and Carers! ๐ŸŒŸ

High Hazels Academy is excited to continue our partnership with The Sheffield Parent Carer Forum to enhance the school experience for children with additional needs.

Join us for our parents and carers meeting on Wednesday, 4th February at 9am at High Hazels Academy. This is a great opportunity to share your thoughts and connect with other parents.

We’ll discuss:

• Why some children struggle with social skills and what we can do to help

• How we can help our children understand their own difficulties/needs and begin to express these

Plus, we'll tackle other school-related topics and answer any questions you might have. Drinks and snacks will be available!

Together, let’s make a difference! Will you join us?
