Nursery Children - Animal Club Visit in School

Dear Parent / Carer,

As part of our topic on ‘All Creatures Great and Small’, the ‘Animal Club’ from Sheffield will be visiting us in nursery. We hope to make a memorable day for the children and further their understanding on the different animals and creatures. This nursery animal club show experience is a gentle and fun interactive session. The children will learn interesting facts about different animals and how to be gentle and kind to the creatures.

The visits will take place on:

Wednesday 12th June - Morning session and Afternoon Session.

In order to get a full experience, please ensure your child is dropped off to nursery on time.  To ensure you can receive any updates about the day, please check your contact details are correct at the school’s main office.

We are asking for £6.50 per child which covers the cost of the visit. Your child will also have the opportunity to get a picture taken of them holding an animal. Please pay on your Arbor app. If you have any concerns or questions about payment, please speak to your child’s class teacher as soon as possible.

If you have any other questions or queries about the visit, please talk to your child’s class teacher.

In nursery we have started a new traditional tale: Little Red Riding Hood. We went to the library to read the story and we became artists and drew our own Little Red Riding Hood's.

Mark Making

The children in nursery find lots of ways to practise mark making. They enjoy painting, drawing, writing letters and even practise writing their names.
