What a fantastic first full week we've had last week inFS2! The children have been settling in beautifully, learning all the rules and routines of school life. They've enjoyed exploring our outdoor area, taking on classroom challenges, and getting stuck into lots of fun maths songs! 
We've also been focusing on important life skills, like using the toilet independently and washing our hands properly 
. This week, we talked about what makes each of us special, and even started our very first phonics lessons – well done, everyone! 
A big thank you to those who have returned their homework already – keep up the amazing work! 
This week we will be exploring repeating patterns in Math, talking about ourselves and our families in Literacy and continuing with our daily phonics lessons. Of course we will also be having lots of fun learning through play!
Reminder: If you haven’t already, please purchase a book bag from the school office and make sure your child comes to school each day with a water bottle.
