🌟 What a fantastic time we've had in the nursery reading "The Three Little Pigs"! 🐷🎉 To make the story even more exciting, the kids acted it out and got creative by building houses for the big bad wolf to blow down! 🏠💨

What an amazing trip Y2 had yesterday at the fire museum! 🔥 They had a fantastic time learning all about the Great Fire of London and deepened their knowledge about this fascinating event. #LearningIsFun #GreatFireOfLondon

Yesterday was an amazing day for our Y1 children at Yorkshire Wildlife Park! They had a fantastic time getting up close to lions, tigers, giraffes—you name it! 🦁🐯🦒 Some of our little adventurers even shared that it was their first time being so close to these incredible animals! What a wonderful experience for them all! 🌿✨ #WildlifeAdventure #Y1Fun

Dear Parents/Carers,

We are delighted to let you know that we have the opportunity to go to an event at The Montgomery, Sheffield City Centre and hear a presentation from the author of one of our favourite books – The Boy at the Back of the Class. This is a great way for students to learn more about the book and gain further excitement for reading.

The event will take place on Monday, 8th June 2026

The cost of the trip is £2 to cover the bus fares to and from the event. Please give your consent on the arbor app and pay all money to the school office.

Children will return to school after lunchtime therefore children will need a packed lunch, as usual if they are entitled to Free School Meals one will be provided for them. Home time will be as normal

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to speak to your child’s class teacher.

The Y1s have arrived safe and sound and are absolutely loving their time with the animals! From learning how animals are all different and whether they have scales or feathers to getting up close and personal with some amazing wildlife, they even had the chance to hold a large snail!
