πŸ¦πŸ“šπŸ˜πŸ¦’Y4 Reading Safari πŸ¦πŸ“šπŸ˜πŸ¦’

Year 4 went on a Reading Safari in the library to learn more about animals. First, each child chose an animal they were interested in. They then explored a range of non-fiction books to find information about their chosen animal, including its habitat, diet, appearance and interesting facts.

Using their research skills, the children searched for key information and recorded their findings on an Animal Fact Sheet. The activity helped them develop their reading and note-taking skills while encouraging curiosity about the natural world.

The children thoroughly enjoyed becoming animal experts and discovering fascinating facts during their library safari!

FS2's Fantastic Trip to The Deep!

Last week our FS2 children had a great adventure at The Deep! 🚌✨

They had fun spotting stingray, clownfish 🐟 and they loved watching the sharks glide overhead in the glass tunnel 🦈.

The children learned so much about ocean animals and how we can help protect their homes 🌍.

A big thank you to all our parent helpers and The Deep’s brilliant staff for making the day so special. πŸ’™

Here are a few highlights from our underwater adventure πŸ“ΈπŸ‘‡

🌟 Y3 Greek Day 🌟

Last week our Y3 children dove into Ancient Greek culture! Our young learners transformed into ancient Greek rulers and had an absolute blast with some fantastic activities:

πŸ† Mini Ancient Greek Olympics – who doesn’t love a little friendly competition?

🎨 Painting ancient Greek artefacts – watch out, future artists!

βœ‚οΈ Crafting their own ancient Greek uniforms – creativity was flowing!

🍽️ Enjoying a traditional ancient Greek meal – yum!
