Y4 had a wonderful opportunity to go to Sheffield Hallam University and meet Sophie Anderson, the author of one of our favourite books. She told us what inspired her to write The House with Chicken Legs and how her other novels share similar ideas. It was an informative and fun trip.
The children loved their ancient Greek banquet. The ancient Greek diet provided balance between plant-based and animal-based foods. Staple plant foods included grains, legumes, vegetables, fruits, nuts and olive oil.
The nursery children had lots of fun mark making in the outdoors.

In both maths and science Y5 have been using our knowledge of graphs. We have studied the data and used it to learn more.
Today in FS2, we've been building numbers to 20. We read the number, then used 1:1 counting and our number bond knowledge to build it on our Rekenreks!
