Book Fair

Dear families

We will have the Scholastic book fair in the junior hall starting today at 3.15 - 4pm. We will be selling book everyday after school until Monday 29th January.

Yesterday was a very special day for Year 1, we had our favourite author Bethan Woollvin in our school and she has shown us how to draw characters from her books. Y1 also had their first ever book signing experience and they LOVED it! Thank you Bethan, we will cherish these books forever.

Dear families

to celebrate the opening of our new library we have an author visiting our school on Wednesday 17th January Bethan Woollvin. If you would like to purchase one of Bethan stories for your child/ren Bethan will be available from 12-12.30pm in the Woodlands to sign your copy - please come along.

*****WANT TO HELP SCHOOL RECEIVE MORE FUNDING?*****

Change of menu - Thursday 18th January is census day in school and the more children that have a school dinner the more money school receive. Please encourage your child/ren to have a school dinner. The kitchen staff will be cooking fish and chips.

School meals are free to all pupils from years Reception to 2.

If you feel your child should be entitled to free school meals, please pop into the office where we can advise and support you. You can apply for free school meals at anytime, even if your child is in reception, year 1 or year 2, this helps the school receive additional funding.

Chilli will be served on Friday 19th January
