It’s our census day on Thursday, and we want all our amazing kids to enjoy a delicious school meal. Remember, every meal helps with school funding, making it a fun and tasty day for everyone!

Get ready for a scrumptious dish of fish and chips, and don’t forget to save some room for a scoop of creamy vanilla ice cream for dessert! And just so you know, on Friday, 3rd October, we’ll be serving up some yummy pizza.

We’d really love your support in encouraging your child to enjoy a school dinner this Thursday.

What another busy and exciting week we’ve had in FS2!

We’ve been having fun with Rainbow Talk, building our speaking and listening skills.

The children really enjoyed some gardening, exploring nature and looking after our plants.

We’ve continued our phonics learning, working hard on our sounds and blending skills.

We’ve also had lots of fun with Dough Disco and Pen Disco, helping us strengthen those little fingers ready for writing.

This week we also started our tooth brushing routine, brushing our teeth in school everyday after lunch.

In Maths, we’ve been learning about matching and sorting, using lots of practical activities to build our early number skills.

In Literacy we have been learning how to do talk partners while discuss our families.

Next week, we look forward to size, length and capacity in math, exploring Autumn in Literacy and more fun at pen disco!

Good morning families

We will hold our Autumn parents evening on Tuesday 21st October and Wednesday 22nd October 3.20 - 6pm. Parents, please make appointments via the arbor app, or contact the school office if you would like help to do this.

We’re having a blast in FS2 this week with our new activity, 'Pen Disco!' 🎶 The kids are loving the chance to copy fun patterns while grooving to some catchy tunes. It's a fantastic way to boost their fine motor skills and pencil control, all while having lots of fun! Keep the music playing! 🎨✨

What a fantastic day in the garden! We uncovered a bunch of adorable little potatoes and some tiny carrots! The best part? Digging them up together and sharing them while savoring that fresh, earthy smell. Nothing beats homegrown goodness! 🥕💚 #GardenJoy #FreshHarvest

The children had a blast using their colorful rainbow fans to talk about all the herbs we've grown in our herb garden! It was such a fun way to share what we've been planting and learning together. From basil to mint, our little garden is thriving! 🌱✨ Have you all tried growing herbs at home? 💚 #HerbGardenFun #KidsInTheGarden

Good morning, families!

Our children are having a blast during playtime, and the OPAL project is really taking off! This week, we're on the hunt for any pushchairs, scooters, or even pots and pans that you might have lying around and no longer use. If you have any of these items, we’d be thrilled to give them a new life in our play sessions!

In FS2 this week, the children have been busy exploring lots of new learning!

In Maths, we have been investigating repeating patterns. The children enjoyed creating their own patterns and spotting them in the world around us.

In Phonics, we continued learning the set 1 sounds and got busy writing them.

We’ve also been developing our speaking and listening skills by using our Kagan partners to talk about what we like and don’t like. The children loved sharing their ideas and listening to each other!

It has been wonderful to see their confidence grow as they learn, share and work together.

Next week we dive into matching and sorting in math, talking more about our families in Literacy and continue learning through our play!
