High Hazels Vision

High Hazels a Great Place to Learn & A Great Place to Work

Our Vision is for every child and adult to be the best that they can be. We will achieve this by following the principles of United Learning’s Framework for Excellence: The Best in Everyone, Powerful Knowledge, Education with Character, Continuous Improvement, and Leadership in every Role.

We are an inclusive school with high expectations for all pupils and staff. We strongly believe all children can achieve both socially, emotionally and academically, in a supportive and nurturing environment, where all feel valued, challenged and supported.  We encourage our pupils to express themselves and celebrate their individuality and creativity.

Our curriculum enables children to master substantive and disciplinary knowledge in depth, to make meaningful links between their learning and to broaden their cultural capital. Our curriculum celebrates diversity and supports the development of personal skills and curiosity, helping children to understand themselves, their place in the world and the valuable contribution they will make.

In five years' time, High Hazels will be an outstanding school, which is a great place to learn and work, with high quality professional development for all. We will continue to develop strong links and work closely with parents the local community.

High Hazels Primary Academy will be a hub of academic excellence which is at the heart of the local community, and everyone associated with it will feel an immense sense of pride.
