We are thrilled to announce that after all their hard work this year, our Year 6 pupils are ready to present THE NEXT BIG STEP production! It will be a fantastic showcase of their talent and dedication, and we would love for you to join us.

Performance Dates:
- Date: Thursday, 17th July
- Times: 10:00 AM or 1:30 PM

Tickets will be on sale at the school office from Monday, 23rd June for 50p each which will include entry into a raffle.

This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the achievements of your child and witness the creativity and effort that they have put into this production. We truly hope you can make it!

Get ready for an afternoon filled with fun games, amazing stalls, bouncy inflatables, delicious food, and awesome entertainment. It’s the perfect opportunity to connect with our school community and enjoy some summer fun together! πŸŽ‰

A quick reminder: School will close early that day, so please make sure to collect your child from their usual spot at 2:15 PM. Also, please note that the nursery afternoon session will be cancelled.

🌟 What a fantastic day at the Junior School Sports Day! πŸŽ‰ The kids had an absolute blast competing in events like hit the wicket, egg and spoon race, javelin, sack race, bench throw, shot put, space hopper, obstacle race, and of course, the legendary teacher race! πŸ† A big shoutout to Miss Field's class for winning the Y5/Y6 games—what an amazing achievement! 🎊 We are still eagerly awaiting the results for the Y3/Y4 groups. The sun was shining bright, and fun was had by everyone! β˜€οΈ Can’t wait for next year!

our FS2 children are very excited to wear their cap and gowns for their graduation ceremony on Friday 11th July at 9.15am. All FS2 parents, grandparents, aunties, uncles, brothers, sisters, cousins all welcome. Refreshments will be available for everyone! Tickets are on sale now from the school office at 50p each. Y1 Trip to Yorkshire Wildlife Park

We are very excited to inform you that Y1 will be going on an educational visit to the Yorkshire Wildlife Park in Doncaster to explore and learn about all the different animals. This visit will conclude our learning from our science unit ‘Animals’.

The visit will take place on Wednesday, 9th July. We aim to leave school at 9.00am and expect to return by 4pm. If there are any delays the office team will contact, you by 2.30pm. Please make sure your contact details are correct at the main office.  We are asking for a contribution of £15.00 per child for the entrance fee and coach.

Cold weather and rain

All children must wear sensible clothing and shoes.  They will also need to wear a warm, weather-proof coat.  Please ensure your child’s name is written in their coat.

Hot weather

All children must wear full school uniform including sensible shoes.  They will also need to wear a hat and sun-cream to protect them.  Please ensure your child’s name is written in their school jumper.

Lunch

All children will be provided with a free pack lunch by school. All you will need to provide your child is a drink in a bottle with their name on.

Please pay and consent via the arbor app/parent portal or call into the school office.

Please check all medical information is correct at the school office.

As part of our ‘Under the Sea’ topic, FS2 classes will be visiting 'The Deep' in Hull! It’s going to be a fantastic opportunity for the children to dive into the world of amazing sea creatures.  The cost of the trip is £15, please can this be paid via the arbor app.

Y3 Trip to Matlock Farm Park

Y3 Trip to Matlock Farm Park

Over the course of Year 3, we will be studying the Peak District in Geography. To support the children with their understanding of what the Peak District has to offer, we will be going on an educational visit to Matlock Farm Park in Derbyshire.  

The visits will take place on: 

Friday, 4th July

To get a full day at the farm, we aim to leave school at 8.55am, so please drop your child to school at 8:40am. We expect to return to school by 4.00pm. You will need to collect your child from the junior hall. If there are any delays, the school’s office team will contact you by 3.30pm. To ensure you can receive any updates on delays, please check your contact details are correct at the school’s main office.  

We are asking for £20.00 per child which covers the cost of the coach and entry to the farm. Please return payment and consent via the Arbor app. 

If you have any concerns or questions about payment, please speak to your child’s class teacher as soon as possible so alternative arrangements can be made. If there are any difficulties with using the Arbor app for payment, then please see the school office.  

For this trip, children must wear full school uniform including sensible shoes/wellies. You will need to provide your child with a packed lunch and a bottle of water with their name written on it. If your child is in receipt of free school meals a packed lunch will be ordered for them.  

In the event of wet weather, we are asking that all children bring a weather-proof coat with their name written in it.  

If you have any other questions or queries about the trip, please talk to your child’s class teacher.
