Dear Parents/Carers
As I write to you on the final day of this half term, I am filled with gratitude and pride for all our staff and pupils. They have worked so hard this term to get back on track with all learning. Our staff have created bespoke catch-up plans to ensure that no child is left behind because of the pandemic. I will be sending you more information after half term about these plans, including our continuity of learning.
All our pupils have settled into school really well and have impressed all of us with their confidence and ability to manage their learning with all the current restrictions. I have already noticed brilliant progress in children’s books. This is a credit to our pupils’ exceptional learning behaviours and determination to do well at school. We look forward to sharing your child/ren’s progress next half term.
I would like to thank all our parents/carers for their continued support, and timely communication that has been invaluable to us in the safe running of the school. Here at High Hazels Academy, we are all looking forward to the start of another amazing term, full of learning achievements, joy and progress.
Have a restful half term break.
Yours sincerely
Mrs A Maqsood-Shah
