Dear Parents/carers
As we start week 4 of this term, I am filled with joy and pride at how well the whole school community is working together to ensure we continue to provide the best education for our pupils.
We have had outdoor handwashing facilities fitted this week in our Junior school yard and will be having some fitted in the Infants school yard next week. This will no doubt help us to continue embedding the good and safe practice of regular handwashing.
This week we will also start trialling serving hot dinners for all pupils in the junior school. An updated menu link has been sent out to all parents.
Over the next two weeks all our pupils will be sitting baseline tests for English and Maths. This will help us ascertain individual pupil gaps and support the teaching staff in planning for catch-up and keep up. As always, we will be sharing with valuable information about your child’s progress so far before the end of this half term and will include key areas of focus/targets for your child. This will guide you as parents/carers on how you support your child with their learning.
Thank you for your continued support.
Mrs A Maqsood-Shah
