Good morning families.

We we very impressed with how many parents attended our first parent forum meeting in October and we hope to see you all again at our next parent forum meeting, which will be held on Friday 15th December in school at 9.30am. Our principal will present latest school updates, news and plans for the new school year.

🥣🥣 Reception Cooking Skills 🥣🥣

FS2 have been busy cooking. We made Aloo tikki and practised lots of cooking skills. the children where all very sensible and did a fantastic job. They then had the opportunity to sit and enjoy their Aloo tikki with their friends. We look forward to next week where we will learn more about healthy food choices.

Children in need

Today is Children in Need day, and children and staff came dressed up in bright colours, spots, stripes; and all things Pudsey – in the name of charity! Children in need

Dear families

As the weather is getting wetter and colder, please can parents ensure children come to school with a coat, hat, scarf and gloves. If children wish to wear wellies to school, please ensure they bring school shoes in a named bag to wear in and around school. Many thanks

🚨👮‍♀️ FS2 had some special visitors! As part of our topic 'people who help us' we had a visit from some police officers who told the children how they help us, showed us what uniform they wear and what equipment they use. They even got to sit in the police car and turn on the flashing lights and sirens! 🚨 👮‍♀️ 

🎅🎅 Nursery & FS2 Winter Sing-along 🎅🎅

Our nursery and FS2 children will hold their annual Winter Sing-along on Tuesday 19th December 9.30am or 2.30pm. All nursery and FS2 parents are invited to attend. 

Performances will take place on Tuesday 19th December 9.30am or 2.30pm.  Tickets are available from the school office 50p each, maximum of 2 tickets per child.

Please make sure you bring your ticket to the event to be entered into the Raffle Draw.

Parent breakfast:

Thank you to all the parents who attended our stay and play breakfast, the children had a fantastic time and we loved having our families inside the classroom.

Diwali:

This week we learned about Diwali the festival of lights, Fs2 made their own divas using salt dough.

Remembrance day:

This week we learned what remembrance day is and what people do to mark the occasion, we made poppies by using tissue paper to create a collage.
