On **Friday, 22nd May**, the last day of half term, our PTA are hosting a **non-school uniform day** for everyone! All pupils are invited to come dressed in their favourite outfits.

It’s just **£1** to join in the fun, and all the profits will go towards some amazing end-of-term activities for our Y6 students!

We’re super excited to share that our Opal Play project is a hit with the children during lunch times! 🎉 To make it even better, we’re reaching out for your help!

This week, we’re on the lookout for any picnic blankets, sandbox play toys, buckets shovels & molds that you might have tucked away and no longer use. If you have any of these items, we’d love to give them a new home in our play sessions!

And guess what? We’ve got some fun snapshots of the kids enjoying their lunchtime on the last week of term! 📸

Good afternoon families,

Please join us in congratulating our Y1 pride and value award winning pupils this week.

Yesterday was an amazing day for our Y1 children at Yorkshire Wildlife Park! They had a fantastic time getting up close to lions, tigers, giraffes—you name it! 🦁🐯🦒 Some of our little adventurers even shared that it was their first time being so close to these incredible animals! What a wonderful experience for them all! 🌿✨ #WildlifeAdventure #Y1Fun

The Y1s have arrived safe and sound and are absolutely loving their time with the animals! From learning how animals are all different and whether they have scales or feathers to getting up close and personal with some amazing wildlife, they even had the chance to hold a large snail!

High Hazels Academy is excited to continue our partnership with The Sheffield Parent Carer Forum to enhance the school experience for children with additional needs.

Join us for our parents and carers meeting in school on Thursday 7th May at 9am. This is a great opportunity to share your thoughts and connect with other parents.

In the session we will talk about independence skills and transition.

Plus, we'll tackle other school-related topics and answer any questions you might have. Drinks and snacks will be available!
