This week in nursery we have been reading the story ‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears’. We have been sorting the compare bears on the maths table into groups of colour and size, acting out the story with props in the reading area and making bear masks in the creative area! We also have been on an Autumn hunt in our outdoor area searching for signs of Autumn. We found lots of different coloured leaves that had fell off the trees and put them in our investigation area. We can’t wait for next week when we will be using the leaves to make Autumn leaf pictures!

This week, Year 6 have been enjoying exploring ‘Fantastic Beasts and where to find them’ This week, Year 6 have been enjoying exploring ‘Fantastic Beasts and where to find them’ This week, Year 6 have been enjoying exploring ‘Fantastic Beasts and where to find them’ by J K Rowling. We have been reading all about different magical creatures and creating fact files.  We will be working towards creating our own class book by inventing mythical beast and writing an informative text, that will be enjoyable for the reader.

We will hold our online parent forum meeting via Microsoft Teams on Friday 8th October starting at 9.30am.  All parents are encouraged to attend.
