Sheffield Park Academy will hold a Y6 open evening on Thursday 5th October 5-6pm or 6-7pm.

The event will include a welcome presentation from the Principal, Mr Freeman and the Senior Leadership Team, followed by a tour of the Academy, an opportunity to meet teachers and join in with a range of activities.

⭐⭐ Non-Uniform Day ⭐⭐

Dear families

on Friday 22nd September we are having a non-uniform day to raise funds for the earthquakes in Morocco. If children wish to take part, they can donate £1 and come to school wearing something that is red/green.

Y6 electricity topic

This half term, Year 6 will be learning all about Electricity, building on their knowledge from year 4. They will be learning the scientific symbols for the equipment, investigating how voltage affects the brightness of a lamp and exploring parallel and series circuits.

Last week, we had a great afternoon exploring all the equipment again to remind ourselves about all our previous learning!
