πŸŽ‰ Windrush Competition πŸŽ‰

This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming 2 very special visitors to our school! They came to celebrate our talented children who participated in the Windrush poetry competition. 🌟 The theme, reflecting on the incredible legacy and stories of the Windrush generation, truly inspired our young poets.

Huge congratulations to all our entrants for sharing their creativity and voices! Your hard work and passion shine bright! Keep it up! ✨ #WindrushCompetition Read more

IMPORTANT INFORMATION Y1 & Y2 PUPILS- Building work on Infant School Roof

Dear families

We have some exciting news to share! Starting Monday, 7th July, our infant school will be getting a fabulous new roof! To make sure everyone stays safe and sound while we work on this improvement, access to certain areas will be limited due to scaffolding.

Y1 & Y2 pupils for morning drop-off and pick-up, the KS1 gate on Whitby Road will remain the entrance for parents to use. However, we want to make you aware that there will only be one entrance available for children to go through the school during this time. Please look at the attached picture for guidance on the entrance route.

In the mornings, we kindly ask that you drop off your little ones at the designated entrance. Don’t worry at all; the children will know exactly how to find their way to class.

At the end of the school day, the children will be lined up on the yard in their class order, ready for you to pick them up. So, please come and collect your child from there.

Thank you for your understanding, patience, and support as we work to improve our school environment.

Warm regards,

Miss M Elliott

Principal

INFANT SCHOOL SPORTS DAY

πŸŽ‰ What an exciting day at the infant school sports day! The cooler weather was perfect for our younger participants, making it a fantastic experience for everyone! 🌟

The kids had an absolute blast competing in all sorts of events like hit the wicket, egg and spoon race, javelin, sack race, bench throw, shot put, space hopper, and the always thrilling obstacle race. And let’s not forget the teacher race! πŸ† It was so lovely to see families cheering for our little champions.

A big shout out to Miss Swain and Miss Prince's teams who won the Y1 & Y2 games! 🎈πŸ₯‡
