As part of our
residential week, we will be taking the children to Thornbridge Outdoor
Pursuits Centre, for the day. This will be on Monday 23rd November 2015.
This is a great
opportunity for your child to experience, some exciting outdoor activities. The
activities at Thornbridge are designed to develop; thinking skills, team
building and challenge the individual. The activities will be instructor and
teacher lead.
The cost for the
day will be £21.
The school is
heavily subsidising the cost of this trip, and will happily discuss the cost
with parents who have concerns about this.
As a year group we
will also take part in a sponsored event, to try and reduce the cost of this
trip.
We will be
travelling by coach and leaving school at 8:30am, so your child will need to be
in school for 8am sharp.
We should arrive
back at school for 5pm.
Your child needs
to remain dry and warm throughout the day. They will need:

trainers, wellingtons or walking boots

cagoule, warm coat

Gloves
(not mittens)

A
packed lunch, with snacks (no fizzy
drinks)

pack, bag of some sort
