** Coleridge Road Recreation Ground and Phillimore Park Consultation **

Sheffield City Council would like to hear how local people feel about two proposals in Darnall.

The Council has been approached by a Darnall-based sports club who are interested in managing and investing in Coleridge Road Recreation Ground. We would like find out your thoughts on this.

We have also been approached by Phillimore School who would like to manage and use the field/pitch adjacent to their school. This proposal includes fencing the site to ensure it was safe for school children. They would also provide community access to the pitch outside of school hours.

Family Learning - Create a board game

14th & 21st November - 9 - 11am in the Woodlands

This course is suitable for parents and carers of children from any age range.  The course offers you materials to make components of your game, and will give you hints and tips to make your own game.

Would you like to improve your English communication skills

please join us every Friday for a free English Conversation Group in the Woodlands 9.30 - 11.30am.

Starting Friday 10th November - 22nd December.

This class will help improve speaking skills, improve confidence and make new friends

** Phonic Workshop Tuesday 7th November **

Learn how to support your child’s phonic development by understanding how they learn in school. You will learn the terms that children use and about the phonics test that they do at the end of Year One.

There will be some time for discussion with other parents/carers and then you can make some activities and take them home.

During the sessions, you can find out more about Family Learning, support, advice, and guidance for both you and your family.

This workshop is fully funded so there is no charge to you
