Parents Forum, Parent Workshops, Family Learning and Coffee Mornings
Coffee mornings are held for parents and carers. Coffee mornings take place to discuss agendas and topics for the Parent Forum meetings which are held once a month at the academy. We already have some exciting workshops booked for the year.
A member of the senior executive team will be present at the meetings and everybody is welcome. (Please see Calendar for Details)
Our next family learning course is art and crafts, the first session will start on Thursday 18th April 9.15 - 11.15am, and they will run for the next 3 Thursdays in our Woodlands Hub. Click here for details.
Would you like to achieve a childcare qualification at level 1 - if so please contact Mrs F Khan for more information. The school will run this course every Tuesday from 16th April - 2nd July 9-11am - click here for details
Throughout June and July we also have the following Family Learning Workshop:- English for Beginners will take place on Monday afternoons, and this course will run from 10th June to 24th June 1-3pm. Introduction to Child Development will take place on Monday Mornings, and this course will run from 10th June to 15th July 9-11.15am. In July we are also offering parents the chance to produce your own radio show! this course will also take place on Monday's from 1st July - 15th July 1-3pm.
Our parent forum planning meetings for this academic year will take place on: Monday 3rd December 2018, Monday 28th January 2019, Monday 11th March 2019, Monday 29th April 2019, Monday 1st July 2019 -all of these meetings will start promptly at 2.15pm and they will be held in the Woodlands Hub - all parents are welcome to contribute to the planning of parent forum.
Our parent forum meetings for this academic year will take place on: Friday 14th December 2018, Friday 8th February 2019, Friday 22nd March 2019, Friday 17th May 2019 & Friday 12th July 2019 - refreshments will be served from 9.15am and each meeting will start promptly at 9.30am - all of the meetings will be held in the Woodlands Hub, please come along and share your views to help improve the school.
