Dear Parent/Carer

As the holy month of Ramadan will start on 17^th/18^th February, we appreciate that some of our older children will be wanting to Fast. It is extremely important that we have parent/carer consent for children who will be fasting.

While we understand children will want to Fast, we would advise that children below Y5 keep their Fast during the weekend as when they are in school, they are very active and at this time of year there a lot of things happening.

For Health and Safety reasons if any child becomes unwell during their Fast, we will contact parents for permission to give them food and drink. Parents may be advised to take their child home. On a hot day we will also be asking those children who are fasting to stay indoors/in the shade.

Can you please complete the electronic permission in the consent section of the Arbor app.

Children will not be allowed to fast without parental consent.

What an exciting start to the week for our Y1 students! We ventured outside and each found our very own stick, igniting creativity in the best way! We brainstormed adjectives to bring our sticks to life and crafted imaginative stories filled with adventure. Then, we took it up a notch and acted out the beginnings, middles, and ends of our tales!

Dive into the world of lifecycles with our Year 5 scientists! This week, we uncovered fascinating similarities and differences between frogs and ladybirds. With a fun game, we filled in our Venn Diagrams, making learning an adventure!

Nursery's story book this week is 'The Train Ride' and the children had a fantastic time exploring numbers through train themed play!

Using wooden people and colourful train carriages, the children practised counting, matching quantities, and building their own passenger trains. 🌟

We’re super excited to invite all parents from Y4 Peridot (Mrs Morris’s class) to our amazing samba performance on Thursday, 5th February at 9:20 AM! 🎉 The kids have been working hard and can't wait to share their musical talents with you,
