This half term, Y6 have been studying electricity in science. To support their learning, Y6 will have an educational visit to Magna Science Adventure Centre in Rotherham. This is sure to be a fantastic opportunity for all! The visits will take place on:

Wednesday 4th November 2026 – Y6 Sapphire and ½ Y6 Amethyst

Tuesday 10th November 2026 – Y6 Rhodonite and ½ Y6 Amethyst

Get ready to solve problems using knowledge of electrical circuits ⚡️

As part of our writing unit, Y1 children are going to be describing their favourite toys. To help children to do this please bring in one toy of your choice from home on Wednesday 7th October.

Please only bring one small toy – no computers, Ipads or tablets!

Our Opal Play project is a hit with the children during lunch times! To make it even better, we’re asking for your help!

This week, we’re on the lookout for any old lego, small toys, soft toys, puzzles and games that you might have tucked away and no longer use. If you have any of these items, we’d love to give them a new home in our play sessions!

Our Y2 children enjoyed visits to Weston Park yesterday this week. This visits started off with a self-guided tour of the museum, exploring all the exhibits. After gathering some inspiration from the galleries, we jumped into a super fun art printing workshop! #CreativeAdventures #WestonParkFun
