Lots of curiosity, imagination, and enthusiasm already — we can’t wait to explore, create, and learn more together. What an amazing beginning to the year!

Dear Parent/Carer,

This half term Y4 are studying tropical rainforests in our art unit. As part of our learning, we will do observational drawing of plants in the winter gardens.

Children should arrive at school at the normal time. We will then get the bus into town and return in time for lunch at school. Children will need to wear school uniform and bring suitable outdoor clothes to stay warm.

Pick up and drop off times will be the same.

This will show on arbor as a free trip; however, we are asking for £2.00 to cover their return bus fare. All bus fares should be paid to the school office. All parents must give their consent on arbor.

🎄☃ End of Term Message ☃🎄

The children explored a magical winter wonderland sensory tray, filled with a train, little houses, shiny baubles, and soft “snow.” This hands-on activity encouraged imaginative play, sensory exploration, and lots of storytelling as the children discovered and created their own winter scenes.

So much learning and fun in one snowy adventure ❄️✨

Y3 had a blast with our Quiz - Quiz - Trade in maths! We reviewed all the vocabulary from Y2, and guess what? The kids remembered so much! It was so much fun watching them engage and learn. Great job, everyone! #MathMagic #LearningIsFun
