This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming 2 very special visitors to our school! They came to celebrate our talented children who participated in the Windrush poetry competition. The theme, reflecting on the incredible legacy and stories of the Windrush generation, truly inspired our young poets.

Iron Man

Students in Y4 have been reading the Iron Man. To deepen our understanding of the text, we performed it, focusing on the verbs and how to portray them. The students really enjoyed this and enjoyed the variety of verbs used for the monster and Iron Man!

'The Fish Who Could Wish'

This week in nursery, we’ve been diving into the delightful story of 'The Fish Who Could Wish'! The little ones have had a splash-tastic time counting fish, creating their very own fish out of playdough, and building colorful fish tanks. It’s been a week full of imagination and fun!

What a fantastic day at our 'Teddy Bears Picnic'! The children in nursery brought their favorite teddies and enjoyed a sunny picnic outside. Laughter, snacks, and cuddly friends made for a truly memorable time.
