πŸ“·πŸ“· School Photo Day πŸ“·πŸ“·

Good afternoon families

Just a reminder that school photo day is tomorrow (02.05.24).

ALL children will have their photo taken unless families have spoken to the school office and asked for this not to happen.

At hometime tomorrow children will bring home their barcodes, and families will be able to order photos online.

Family/sibling photos can be taken if you wish to arrive at school and queue outside the junior hall at 8am or 3.15pm. Only individual photos will be taken during the day.

πŸ˜€πŸ˜€ Greek Banquet πŸ˜€πŸ˜€

The children loved their ancient Greek banquet. The ancient Greek diet provided balance between plant-based and animal-based foods. Staple plant foods included grains, legumes, vegetables, fruits, nuts and olive oil.

Y3 Care Home Visit

This week is Global Intergenerational Week, and we have had a wonderful time at Housteads Care Home this morning. It was our first session and we have loved getting to know the residents and creating some beautiful pieces of artwork together.

πŸ“–πŸ“– Y3 Reading Bistro πŸ“–πŸ“–

Year 3 loved visiting reading bistro. For their starter course they explored picture books, for their main course they explored chapter books and for desserts they explored some interesting non-fiction books. After their visit the children completed a reading comment card and shared their recommendations. Exploring books and developing an interest is all part of our reading for pleasure mission. What books do you enjoy?
