Inspired by the work of Ifeoma Anyaeji, Y6 have learnt how to reuse plastic bags to create our own pieces of artwork using a braiding technique.

At hometime on Wednesday 9th October the PTA will be selling marshmallow and chocolate cups on the infant and junior yard. They are £1 each.

As a school, we feel it is important for us to recognise and support everyone's mental health.

To acknowledge World Mental Health Day, we are inviting all children to attend school in something yellow on Thursday 10th October 2024.

We kindly ask that children donate £1 and all monies raised will go to Young minds charity.

For the next couple of days Fisher Lane and Whitby Road are closed to all traffic. At hometime and morning drop off please park elsewhere and walk to the school gates.

In Year 6, Disci has been helping us think like scientists by planning and carrying out an investigation. We wanted to find out what happened to the brightness of a bulb when we added more cells/voltage to a circuit. Disci taught us about the importance of control variables and about repeating our findings for a fairer test. Thanks Disci!

Dear families

We will have the Scholastic book fair in the Junior Hall starting Tuesday 15th October. Please see opening times on the picture attached.

Families will be able to buy a variety of children's books. When families purchase books, school is given a cashpot to spend on books too. Last year due to all the purchases our families made we were given £167.20 to spend on books for our new library.
