We would love to invite parents from Y2 Moonstone (Miss Swain's) class to watch their showcase assembly on Thursday 24th October at 2.30pm. The children are so excited to showcase examples of work they have done so far this term. Please come along if you can.

This week in FS2 we have been learning about families! We enjoyed talking about our families and what makes them special, then we drew our family trees.

Year 1 practiced scissor control and decorated their favourite transport using different material they cut.

Students in Y4 have been exploring the use of polka dots to create a sense of infinity, just like Yayoi Kusama. They used paint, bubble wrap and marker pens to explore texture, equality, size and overall effect of their chosen techniques. It seems we have some talented artists in Year 4!

Dear families

Our first set of Opal (Opportunities for Play and Learning) equipment went out onto the field yesterday. It was Y6 field day, the building site, mud pit and sand pit were a great success. The children were engaged and genuinely upset when lunchtime ended.

On our new building site some of the Y6 boys role played for over 40 minutes!

In the sandpit the children built sandcastles and some of the girls built a volcano.

In Y2 phonics, some children have been working really hard to read and write multi-syllabic words such as increase, enjoyment, lemonade and bumblebee.
