Its week 7 😊 Let’s see what’s been happening in nursery…………………….

This week in nursery we have been reading the story ‘We’re going on a bear hunt’. In the maths area we have been counting bears and matching them to the correct numeral. In the literacy area we have been ordering the story and drawing our favourite scene. We made bear headbands on the creative table and pretended to go on a bear hunt in our outdoor area, swishing through the long grass and finding a bear in the cave! We can’t wait for next week where we will continue our learning with the story and joining in with more bear themed learning!

Its week 6 😊 Let’s see what’s been happening in nursery…………………….

This week in nursery we have been focussing on the story ‘Goldilocks and the three bears’. We have enjoyed retelling and acting out the story using the props from the story sack! We have also been learning about Autumn, we went for a walk outside and looked for signs of Autumn and  found lots of leaves which we have used to make beautiful autumnal pictures! We have also been mark making with autumnal coloured paint outside on different materials. We are looking forward to starting our new story next week ‘We’re going on a bear hunt.’
