Here is some more fabulous art from Y5. In this lesson, we practised tinting and shading with watercolours. We then applied what we had learnt and used light and dark shades to make our spheres look 3D.

Non-Uniform Day

Dear families

on Friday 29th September we are having a non-uniform day to raise funds for the floods in Libya. If children wish to take part, they can donate £1 and come to school wearing something that is red/green/white.

⭐⭐ Parents Evening ⭐⭐

Good morning families

we will hold our Autumn parents evening on Tuesday 10th October and Wednesday 11th October 3.30 - 6pm. Parents, please make appointments via the arbor app, or contact the school office if you would like help to do this.

** 🙋‍♀️ Parent Forum Meeting 🙋‍♂️**

Good morning families.

We will hold our first parent forum meeting of the new academic year on Friday 13th October in school at 9.30am. Our principal will present latest school updates, news and plans for the new school year.

Yesterday, Y5 had two very exciting visits. In the morning Gareth Walker, a sports journalist, delivered a writing workshop. Children were incredibly engaged and inspired to write an article about Sheffield Eagles' triumph over Wigan to win their first Challenge Cup. In the afternoon, we had a visit from the Sheffield Eagles themselves and learnt some rugby skills. What a fun day!
