Y6 have been investigating how light travels.

We have been learning about Zones of Regulation in PSHE. We looked at identifying and recognising different emotions. Then, we sorted the emotions into coloured zones."

📖📖 Y1 Library Time 📖📖

Year 1 Emerald visited the library today and enjoyed reading lots of different books

🏐🏐 Handball 🏐🏐

Y6 have been developing skills in 'Handball'. We enjoyed practising the skill of attacking and defending, before playing a competitive game together.

Y2 Reporting

In Y2 we have been writing a report on the amazing Mrs Phillips!

We spoke about her job, what she does in the morning and what she does in school!

Dear Parents/Carers

I am excited to inform you that we have a planned a special visit for Y1-Y6 during British Science Week.

This Workshop/visit will take place on Monday 11^th and Tuesday 12^th March 2024 and your child will attend one session.

The Maker {Move} Van will return to deliver a workshop where pupils can engage in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) challenges. The focus is on making without a specific goal in mind. Pupils will get the opportunity to create, tinker, test and modify which will develop the skills they need to solve complex problems. We can't wait! 

The cost of this workshop is £2 and can be paid via Arbor. The school office is happy to help if you require support with this.

If you have any further questions, please do ask your child’s class teacher.

We really enjoyed interviewing Mrs. Phillips. From this, we were able to write about her daily routine.

🌺🌺 Flowering Plants 🌺🌺

Y5 have been learning about flowering plants. Disci helped us observe and dissect flowers in order to identify the different parts.

We have been reading ‘Chicken Licken’ in nursery. Have a look at all the chicken Licken’s we have made using play-dough. Play-dough is good for developing fine motor skills and using our imagination.
