After school clubs are cancelled on Tuesday 10th October and Wednesday 11th October due to parents evening taking place.

* WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY *

Good afternoon families,

As a school it is important to us to recognise and support everyone's mental health.

To acknowledge World Mental Health Day, we are inviting all children to attend school in something that makes them happy on Tuesday 10th October 2023.

There will be no donations required for this event but we kindly ask that whatever your child chooses to wear is appropriate for school.

As part of our topic on ‘It’s Getting Dark Outside’ and ‘Autumn’,
we will be looking at nocturnal and woodland animals.

On Thursday, 12th October we have invited the Wise Owl
Falconry to visit us with a range of birds including owls to support
our understanding of their way of life. To help us fund this visit we
are asking for £4.00 to be payable via the app which will include
a photo of your child with a bird.

We have been reading the story ‘Owl Babies’ this week so the nursery children have been busy baking owl biscuits

🎳🎳 Y3 Bowling Champions 🎳🎳
Yesterday our Y3 children took part in a bowling competition at Hollywood Bowl, we won the competition for the 3rd year running! The children all really enjoyed the event, and we are so very proud of them 👏👏
