Our Y3 children had a great time yesterday visiting Housteads Residential Home.

Year 1 Emerald were excited to show their grown ups their class assembly this afternoon. They were very excited to talk about what they did in Maths, writing, Science and P.E.

The nursery children cooking in the mud kitchen together!

One of our FS2 teachers is out on some exciting training bringing, growing, cooking and healthier eating into the classroom. Educating our children in an exciting and engaging way!

Year five went on a treasure hunt in maths. We found different angles around the playground and identified which type of angle they were.

Good afternoon families

Just a reminder that school photo day is tomorrow (02.05.24).

ALL children will have their photo taken unless families have spoken to the school office and asked for this not to happen.

At hometime tomorrow children will bring home their barcodes, and families will be able to order photos online.

Family/sibling photos can be taken if you wish to arrive at school and queue outside the junior hall at 8am or 3.15pm. Only individual photos will be taken during the day.

Dear Parents/Carers,

We are delighted to let you know that your child has the opportunity to participate in a team building Adventure Day. This is sure to be a wonderful day for all and is a fantastic opportunity for your child to learn new skills, challenge themselves and have fun with their friends as they near the end of their journey at High Hazels.  

Our Adventure Day will take place on Tuesday 4^th June 2024 and will take place all day.

This event will take place on our school field and each activity will be run by qualified instructors (from the Wise-Up Team) and school staff will be there to support throughout the day.  

The cost for this day is £15.  Please can you pay this via Arbor.

• Your child will need to wear their PE kit on this day.
• The school day will start and finish at the normal time.
• There will be normal lunchtimes so if your child has a school dinner, they can have that as normal. 
• Please pack a water bottle to have on the field on the day.
