Sheffield Park Academy will hold a Y6 open evening on Thursday 5th October 5-6pm or 6-7pm.

The event will include a welcome presentation from the Principal, Mr Freeman and the Senior Leadership Team, followed by a tour of the Academy, an opportunity to meet teachers and join in with a range of activities.

⭐⭐ Acorns Craft ⭐⭐

Our two year olds have enjoyed making faces using paper plates and tissue paper!

⭐⭐ Non-Uniform Day ⭐⭐

Dear families

on Friday 22nd September we are having a non-uniform day to raise funds for the earthquakes in Morocco. If children wish to take part, they can donate £1 and come to school wearing something that is red/green.

⭐⭐ Y3 Art ⭐⭐

We have been studying Andy Warhol’s pop art printing and practising the technique to produce our own prints.”

⭐⭐ Y5 writing ⭐⭐

In Y5 we have been using 'show not tell' to communicate a character's feelings and help the reader engage with the story. Ruby has done an amazing job of showing anger and fear through her characters' actions.

Y2 have been very busy making disgusting sandwiches. They were horrid! We can’t wait to write our instructions next week.  

⭐⭐Y4 Brazilian Baking ⭐⭐
Last week, year 4 learnt how to make a Brazilian cake recipe. The children wrote their own recipes and took them home. Samara (from Y4 Turquoise) followed her instructions at home and made a delicious Pave' de chocolate cake. She kindly brought them in to share with her teachers and peers. Well done and thank you Samara 🙂
