🚜🚜Y3 Trip to Matlock Farm 🚜🚜

Friday was an amazing day at Matlock Farm! 🐐🐾 We loved petting and feeding the animals and learning all about the meerkats. We had such a blast on the playground and bouncing pillow. So many laughs and memories made! 🥰🌾☀️

IMPORTANT INFORMATION Y1 & Y2 PUPILS- Building work on Infant School Roof

Dear families

We have some exciting news to share! Starting Monday, 7th July, our infant school will be getting a fabulous new roof! To make sure everyone stays safe and sound while we work on this improvement, access to certain areas will be limited due to scaffolding.

Y1 & Y2 pupils for morning drop-off and pick-up, the KS1 gate on Whitby Road will remain the entrance for parents to use. However, we want to make you aware that there will only be one entrance available for children to go through the school during this time. Please look at the attached picture for guidance on the entrance route.

In the mornings, we kindly ask that you drop off your little ones at the designated entrance. Don’t worry at all; the children will know exactly how to find their way to class.

At the end of the school day, the children will be lined up on the yard in their class order, ready for you to pick them up. So, please come and collect your child from there.

Thank you for your understanding, patience, and support as we work to improve our school environment.

Warm regards,

Miss M Elliott

Principal

🎨✨ Transition News 🎨✨

Year 5s had a fantastic arty transition as they dipped their toes into Year 6 life! We kicked off our history unit all about the Anglo Saxons and explored some amazing patterns from that era. Using a fun printing technique with ink and rollers, we crafted our very own Anglo Saxon 'tapestry'!
