Dear families

On Tuesday 5th November hometime will be 3pm. This is to allow families time to arrive at Phillimore Park for the Lantern Parade for those who wish to attend.

In literacy in FS2 we were drawing our own settings. We used our imagination to come up with ideas for our settings, then we discussed our ideas with our partners before drawing them. The children came up with some fantastic ideas, from shipwrecks under the sea, to cities with erupting volcanos.

Y5 worked in pairs to complete multi-step problems.

Our Y1 children enjoyed our trip to The Crucible on Friday joining in with Music in the Round 'Giddy Goat'. The children were fantastic singing the songs using Makaton!

Today is “Show Racism the Red Card” day, children and staff were encouraged to wear red clothing to symbolize standing up against racism. This visual statement helps to show unity and support for the cause.
