We’re super excited to share that our Opal Play project is a hit with the children during lunch times! 🎉 To make it even better, we’re reaching out for your help!

This week, we’re on the lookout for any pushchairs, toy prams, wheelchairs & scooters, that you might have tucked away and no longer use. If you have any of these items, we’d love to give them a new home in our play sessions!

And guess what? We’ve got some fun snapshots of the kids enjoying their lunchtime activities last week! 📸

Spring has been so much fun in nursery! We've had a blast learning about life on a farm, planting seeds, and painting beautiful butterflies. We also created lovely Mother’s Day cards and special Eid cards to celebrate.

We’re sending our warmest wishes for a joyful and blessed Eid al-Fitr to everyone celebrating this week! May your celebration be filled with happiness and togetherness.

To ensure that everyone can join in the festivities, our school will be closed on Friday, 20th March, for all pupils and staff. We’ll be back to our usual routine on Monday, 23rd March!

Eid Mubarak!

Today, our amazing Y6 students dove into the fascinating topic of migration, with a spotlight on Poland during the 2000s and 2010s! They explored the benefits for both sending and receiving countries and also discussed some potential challenges. It’s inspiring to see such thoughtful discussions and research happening! 💪

Y6 Science - Light

Year 6 have been recapping previous learning about how shadows are formed. We then predicted the direction and shape of shadows when we moved the light source. We can't wait to further explore light with more experiments and practical activities.

Year 3 have been diving into their History topic on Ancient Egypt!

We have learnt that Ancient Egyptians believed in an afterlife and that the pharaohs and the richest Egyptians were carefully mummified.

The children explored the fascinating mummification process, wrote their own step-by-step instructions on how to make a mummy, and then brought it all to life by acting it out!

Lots of learning, creativity, and laughter along the way!
