Week 2 saw more laughter, chaos and enjoyment. PRIZE task saw lots of creative sock designs for 'best socks'. A disguised sock in the shape and design of a donut won Mrs Mitchell's vote!

In the tasks, first the teams needed to use socks to measure the classroom, the tables and the walls! Then they had to put as many 'unique' items inside a sock, including a member's hand and wrist! However, a second part to the task was a twist no one expected! Writing their 9x tables out with their hand AND the objects in the sock!

Judging was tough as there was a lot to consider: the number of unique items, the most unique item, the name of the sock, the voice of the sock and the fastest to write the times table! All participated with enthusiasm and many laughs were had!

Y2 had an amazing time at EIS with the talented students from Sheffield Hallam! 🚀📸 These photos capture our fun and valuable moments as we practiced key skills together. A huge shoutout to everyone who joined the adventure!

Last week was a blast for our Year 6s at the Magna Science Adventure Centre! We dived into the exciting four pavilions filled with interactive exhibits and had a ton of fun discovering the wonders of Air, Earth, Fire, and Water.

But that's not all! We rolled up our sleeves for a workshop where we got hands-on with 'Big Circuits.' We created large electrical circuits and even experimented with conductors like water!

Yesterday we welcomed the Sheffield Family Hub into our nursery for a wonderful Play, Chat and Learn workshop

Children and parents explored lots of exciting activities together — from creating colourful artwork and sorting woodland animals, to exploring textures, leaves, and storytelling inspired by We’re Going on a Bear Hunt!

It was lovely to see so many shared moments of learning through play. A big thank you to the Family Hub team and to all our families who joined us!

We’re asking each Y6 student to bring in a news story that they find intriguing. It can be anything from a fascinating historical event, a current happening, or even something they've cooked up themselves! 📰✨

Good morning, families!

We’re excited to share that our children are having a blast during playtime, and the OPAL project is really taking off! This week, we’re on the lookout for any old musical instruments, wellies and kitchen utensils you no longer use. If you've got any spare items lying around, we’d be absolutely thrilled to give them a new life in our play sessions!
