** FS2 Graduation **

Dear families

Thank you to all the families who attended our FS2 graduation. We had a lovely morning celebrating the children's achievements.

Y1 Visit to Yorkshire Wildlife Park

The Y1's loved going to Yorkshire Wildlife Park. It was an amazing experience. They saw lots of different animals and learnt some facts about the animals in the woodland classroom.

Dear Parents and Carers

In a bid to make things more affordable, we have decided to change our school uniform slightly.

We have swapped our v-neck knitted jumpers/cardigans for navy blue sweatshirts/cardigans either with or without the logo.

We will no longer be having ties and children will be able to wear black jogging bottoms as well as trousers and black trainers or shoes. 

White Polo shirts can be worn instead of plain white shirts and girls can wear a pull over type (not loose) scarf in navy or black.

Parents will be able to order the sweatshirts and cardigans, book bags and Pe bags as usual from the school office.

New Price List – Please note Pinders have changed ownership and therefore have new suppliers, you will notice the change in price of our book bags and shoulder bags.

Cardigans – £9.00

Small Book Bag with logo - £4.50

Shoulder Book Bag with logo - £9.00

Pe Bags with logo - £3.00

As usual it is expected that children wear their uniform everyday unless otherwise instructed.

It is also expected that all children have their PE kits in school everyday so that they can change clothes for their PE lessons.

**☀ Early School Closure ☀**

Dear morning families,

school will close at 2.15pm on Wednesday 10th July to enable families to enjoy our summer fair. Please collect your child from their normal drop off gate.

The nursery afternoon session will also be cancelled on Wednesday 10th July.

We hope to see you all there!

The FS2 children have had a great day yesterday at The Deep. We saw sharks, jellyfish, stingray and more, then went on an adventure with Percy Penguin.

The nursery children had a great time at our 'Teddy Bears Picnic' yesterday. We shared a picnic with our favourite teddy in the garden.

In Y2 we have continued our art topic on waves and practiced some designs for our final piece. We painted waves using different shades of blue and use different brushstrokes to paint the waves and bubbles. It was so much fun!
