This week in FS2 has been filled with creativity and fun! We acted out the imaginative story of Zog and even created our very own story maps to bring it to life.

In maths, we dove into learning about length, and everyone is making great progress!

With a lovely break in the weather, we took advantage of the sunshine and enjoyed some outdoor learning. Our adventures included riding bikes, playing with nature soup, and using natural resources to create some beautiful transient art.

And let’s not forget our drawing club where we let our imaginations soar by drawing dragons!

This week in Y1, we wrapped up our Traction Man inspired comic strips and added our speech bubbles! 🎉 We had a blast using exclamation marks to amp up our writing and really show off our characters' emotions! It was so much fun! Can’t wait to share our amazing work! 📚✨

Y4 Teamwork

What an amazing day in PE! Our team really nailed it with some great teamwork, communication, problem solving, and leadership. Every move we made together showed just how powerful working as one can be!

Social Coffee Morning Alert!

A huge THANK YOU to all the amazing parents who joined us for our Y4 meet the teacher breakfast last week! It was great to see you all there🎉

In science, Year 6 have been learning all about evolution and Darwin's Theory of natural selection. We went out to search for 'caterpillars' on the field. We realised that the more camouflaged ones were harder to find, therefore birds would less likely eat them compared to brighter coloured ones. This is known as survival of the fittest. The children had a great time competing to see who could be the 'most successful bird.'

They’ve been busy creating twisted fairytales full of creativity and imagination—and we’ve seen some fantastic improvements in their handwriting too. What a brilliant effort all round! 👏🖊️

We’re super excited to share that our Opal Play project is a hit with the children during lunch times! 🎉 To make it even better, we’re reaching out for your help!

This week, we’re on the lookout for any pushchairs, toy prams and scooters, that you might have tucked away and no longer use. If you have any of these items, we’d love to give them a new home in our play sessions!
